"The day I met Mr. K I knew he was going to be my favorite teacher until I graduated. Mr. K is such an amazing person inside and out. He has shaped me into the person I am today. He was always there to help and listen when a student needed it. Mr. K is so kind and loving, he will always put you before himself and will always be there to guide you in the right direction. "You have been one of the best teachers. Every since I moved to kiski in 3rd grade I had you as a art teacher. You have shown me that not that there is good in the world but that there is really amazing people. I am so sad that you left in the middle of my 8th grade year. Honestly I didn’t get to say goodbye to anyone I have gotten really sick that day. But I did try my best for your class and I will always remember that you were an amazing art teacher. "
"He was my favorite teacher! He gave me a painting of sunflowers in like third grade, and I treasured it so much. I had him again in the middle school, but he was unfortunately not there much due to health issues. Regardless, I was grateful for the time I had with him in class!"

"Mr.K was always in a good mood when we walked in his class it didn’t matter how early it was he was always in a good mood, he always put others in a good mood."
"Mr K taught me a lot of the art skills that I know now and I don’t think he understands how much i enjoyed having him as my elementary and middle school art teacher. Mr K was always in a good mood and even always had a smile on his face no matter the struggle he was going through. It was so nice to have a teacher that connected with his students and could brighten their moods even on the hard days. Thank you so much Mr K"
"Mr. K was the best art teacher any kid could ever ask for. He always gave us fun assignments, and understood that not everyone is perfect. He is truly just such a great person."
"Mr. K had a huge impact on me. From Kindergarten to 4th grade, then from 7th to 8th grade, I had Mr. K. He is a family friend of my Aunt, former elementary school teacher, Ms. Maszgay. From when I was in kindergarten, to 4th grade, Mr.K helped me learn how to draw, but behind the drawing was a deeper meaning that affected me completely for the rest of my life. He taught me to always keep trying, and to never give up. I still draw to this day, and I’ve gotten a lot better from my kindergarten stick figures, I would say myself. When I transferred to my new school last year, I realized how much I missed Mr.K. He was always a bright light in the dark of my “sucky” school days. He always tries to make everyone smile, and is someone who is absolutely filled with compassion and companionship."
"Mr Ks class always made my day especially after my mom died from dn disease. love him"
"I just wanted to thank you for being such a kind teacher and more importantly a kind person. I am so appreciative that we spent so many years together, although I wish I could be in your class forever. Your kindness is unparalleled and it made me an overall better artist and person. Your calm demeanor makes for a stress free environment where people can feel at peace in their art. As you may know from the years I have been in your class I have a never been a great artist but I feel like I have made significant progress in my art skills. While I will never be the next Leanardo Divinchi excellence doesn't exist and I think I myself am at peace with my art skills. Overall I just wanted to thank you for being such a great art teacher enjoy your retirement.-sincerly a grateful student, Nicholas Debich"

"Mr. K is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He is definitely a role model to many people, and definitely someone to look up to. I feel like I speak for the entire district when I say we are so lucky to have had him and everyone definitely took something away from his class. Thank you for all the opportunities you've given us."
"Mr. K is one of my favorite teachers. Not only that but the best artist I know! Being in his class was my favorite time of day! I remember one time drawling a terrible picture of a duck and he hung it up in his room all school year. I’m so glad I had him as my art teacher I’m always going to try my hardest to be just like him!"
